Driver accused of DWI had BAC over 3x limit in Waterloo

Police arrested a man Saturday night after they stopped a speeding car in Waterloo and found the driver was heavily intoxicated.

John Mollo, 61, of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, is facing two felony counts of Driving While Intoxicated. Police say his blood alcohol content was .25% — more than three times the legal limit.

Officers pulled Mollo over around 10:28 p.m. on September 14 after clocking his vehicle at 49 MPH in a 30 MPH zone. During the stop, police say they determined he was impaired and placed him under arrest.

Because of prior DWI convictions, both charges were upgraded to felonies. Mollo was also charged with driving with a BAC of .18% or higher.

He was issued uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
