A neighbor’s daily tirades are driving customers away from a beloved Geneva café, according to the Finger Lakes Times. Josh Decker, owner of Monaco’s Coffee, told City Council the man yells, threatens, and intimidates staff and visitors — all over a long-running parking dispute.
Decker said the man wrongly claims public spaces near the café belong to him and has harassed snowplow crews, prompting some to avoid the area altogether. Police arrested the man for trespassing in 2023, but the case was dismissed.
The department confirmed one other unrelated conviction for disorderly conduct. Decker and others are urging witnesses to report incidents to police and help build a record of behavior.
