A packed crowd forced the Chenango Planning Board to postpone a meeting on a proposed solar farm Monday night, according to WICZ.
Residents slammed the plan from Cipriani Energy Group, citing flooding risks, traffic, and lower property values. Some called out what they see as a lack of transparency, while others warned the area can’t handle the environmental impact.
The town now needs a larger venue before rescheduling the meeting. No new date has been set yet.
