Deputies say a Lyons man is facing charges after he was found with a stolen grocery cart on Montezuma Street.
Rodrick L. Lampley, 50, was arrested Thursday night after Wayne County deputies investigated a suspicious condition in the Town of Lyons.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Lampley had taken the cart from Aldi without permission. He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Deputies processed Lampley at the Sheriff’s Office, then brought him to the Wayne County Jail for photos and fingerprints. He was later released with a ticket to appear in Lyons Town Court.
The case was investigated by Deputies Bickel and Cody.
