A Penn Yan woman was ticketed earlier this month after police say she was driving with a suspended license.
According to the Penn Yan Police Department, 47-year-old Shawna S. Orr was pulled over on Main Street on August 13 around 11:09 a.m. after officers noticed her vehicle had no or inadequate stop lamps.
A DMV check revealed Orr’s New York State driver’s license had been suspended due to a failure to answer a summons out of the Town of Urbana.
She was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and issued a ticket to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
