Starting September 2, the City of Geneva will begin a three-week roadway milling and paving project that will affect streets and parking areas across the city.
The Department of Public Works says work will take place at several key locations, including Seneca Street, South Main Street, Twomey Place, Park Avenue, Pulteney Street, Prospect Avenue, North Avenue, Maple Street, Pleasant Street, Larchmont Street, Routes 5 & 20, the North and South Cloverleafs, and the South Exchange Street Parking Lot—along with all intersecting streets.
Crews will be on site during workdays, and parking or through-traffic in affected areas will be limited. Temporary parking restrictions will be posted and could be enforced through towing.
City officials say the schedule may change depending on weather or other unexpected delays.
