Seneca Falls cancels September 15 fall cleanup due to scheduling error

Seneca Falls residents will have to wait a little longer to clear out yard waste and debris this fall. Town officials have announced that the Fall Cleanup originally scheduled for Monday, September 15 has been canceled due to a scheduling error.

The next opportunity for residents to take part in the town’s cleanup program is now scheduled for Monday, November 17.


The announcement was confirmed by Kathryn Lankford, confidential secretary to Town Supervisor Frank E. Schmitter, and has been posted to the town’s website. Town staff also requested the update be shared publicly through local media.

Residents are encouraged to update any contact information to reflect Lankford’s new email address at [email protected] for the most timely responses regarding town matters.
