A Naples Central School District staffer is on leave after posting online about Charlie Kirk’s shooting, according to officials. The posts included profanity aimed at Trump supporters, insults toward Kirk, and a photo of a T-shirt reading “Is He Dead Yet?”
The posts, shared widely online, came after Kirk was fatally shot at a Utah university. Community outrage pushed the district to act quickly, confirming the person works as a teacher.
District leaders said they’re investigating and emphasized the community’s commitment to empathy and civility — but won’t comment further for now.
