A 19th-century mill in Honeoye Falls just got a dramatic makeover — and a new life as Grist, a modern fine dining spot, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.
Restaurateur Joe Bucciarelli and family transformed the former Rabbit Room into a rustic-meets-contemporary space, keeping stone walls and wood beams while adding a sleek bar and reimagined kitchen. The two-level restaurant shares the building with the Mill Art Center upstairs.
Grist’s chef-driven menu leans shareable and seasonal, with in-house baked breads, a standout burger, and a brunch lineup. Even the cocktails, like the smoked old fashioned, are crafted with flair.
