A mandatory conserve water order is now in effect for the Village of Milford, according to WIVT.
Officials say the area’s water table has dropped due to a lack of rain. Residents are being urged to limit water use for cooking, bathing, and drinking.
Milford is located just south of Cooperstown in Otsego County.
