Clyde health center gets new equipment with .5K gift

New medical tools are on their way to Clyde Family Health Center, thanks to a $6,500 donation from the Wayne County Community Endowment.

The funding will cover upgraded exam beds, a vaccine freezer, and otoscopes for the practice at 4 West Genesee Street. The gift was secured by the Finger Lakes Health Foundation.

“Replacing and upgrading equipment is a priority across all our practices,” said Andre Forcier, Assistant Vice President of the Finger Lakes Health Physicians Network. He thanked the endowment for supporting the Clyde location, one of nine UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health primary care sites.

Mary Sue Dehn, Director of Development for the Finger Lakes Health Foundation, called the endowment “a vital resource” for promoting community health.

Clyde Family Health Center is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is currently accepting new patients 18 and older. To make an appointment, call (315) 923-3640.
