A crash involving a car and a telephone pole shut down part of Route 96 in Seneca County late Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at the intersection of Route 96 and Edwards Road, according to Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire.
Border City and Waterloo fire departments, along with North Seneca Ambulance, responded to the scene.
The road was closed in the area while crews worked. There is no word yet on injuries or what caused the crash.
