State Police have arrested a Bath resident after an investigation into the reported sexual assault of a juvenile girl.
Troopers said the incident happened on July 30, when 25-year-old Coby R. Causer allegedly provided alcohol to a minor and engaged in sexual contact with her. The complaint was reported to the Bath barracks on Aug. 4.
Causer was arrested the next day and charged with aggravated sexual abuse (compulsion), third-degree rape involving a victim under 17, unlawful dealing with a child (alcohol), and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was taken to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment.
