A Williamson woman has been charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing from a Dollar General store in Marion.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Lauren Hadley is accused of taking a container of Afrin nasal spray, valued at about $10.25, without paying.
The incident was reported as a shoplifting complaint, and Hadley later turned herself in. Deputies arrested her and processed her at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
She was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Marion Town Court on August 27 at 1 p.m.
