A man was arrested Tuesday evening in Naples after deputies responded to a domestic incident involving damaged property and unlawful imprisonment.
Patrick W. Hicks, 59, was taken into custody at 6362 Edson Road around 7:19 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Hicks caused at least $400 in property damage and prevented the victim from calling 911. After his arrest, he was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was processed.
Hicks appeared in CAP court the following morning and was released on his own recognizance. Authorities confirmed that an order of protection has been issued on behalf of the victim.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation, with assistance from the New York State Police.
