The man accused of attacking a nurse outside Highland Hospital failed to appear at a scheduled court hearing Monday, prompting the judge to proceed without him.
Robert White, 45, allegedly assaulted a nurse in her 60s on July 24 after leaving the hospital during a dispute with staff. Court documents say he asked if she worked there, then punched her, causing a concussion, broken nose, and severe dental injuries.
White remains in jail and faces multiple felony charges. He’s also accused in separate assaults earlier this year in Rochester.
