A man died Friday afternoon when a small plane crashed on Bridge View Drive near Rochester’s Maplewood Park, according to Rochester Police.
The crash happened around 1:35 p.m. A second man aboard the aircraft was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say this type of incident is rare for the area.
The FAA and NTSB are leading the investigation.
