A man was killed early Monday morning after being hit by a train in Fairport, according to RochesterFirst. Police say the adult male intentionally stepped onto the tracks around 2:30 a.m.
Authorities have concluded their investigation and are not releasing further information. The man’s identity has not been disclosed.
The incident brought early morning train activity in the area to a halt but did not impact broader rail service.
