Simone Biles continued to etch her name in sports history Wednesday night, capturing two major honors at the 2025 ESPYS.
The four-time Olympic gold medalist was named Best Female Athlete and also took home Best Championship Performance for her dominant showing at the Paris Olympics. It marked another milestone in a storied career that now includes 11 Olympic medals.
Biles earned the first award of the evening for her record-setting performance in Paris, where she led Team USA to its first women’s gymnastics team gold since 2016. She also claimed three individual gold medals and a silver, reinforcing her position as the sport’s greatest of all time.
The award placed her atop a competitive field that included Stephen Curry, Freddie Freeman, and Rory McIlroy.
