Ovid woman arrested in Waterloo for driving with suspended license

A traffic stop in Waterloo led to the arrest of an Ovid woman who was allegedly driving with a suspended license and an unregistered vehicle.

Police say Sylvia Morgan, 27, was arrested on July 13 at approximately 5:20 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. She was also cited for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

The arrest followed a roadside investigation in which officers determined that Morgan was driving with a suspended license. Her vehicle was also found to be unregistered at the time of the stop.

Morgan is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date.
