A Canandaigua woman was arrested Tuesday morning on a bench warrant tied to multiple traffic-related offenses, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took 27-year-old Ty-Janey Whitfield into custody at 8:41 a.m. on July 15 after the warrant was issued out of Farmington Town Court. The charges include driving while ability impaired by drugs (DWAI Drugs), unlicensed operation, failure to change address, aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, and a violation related to plate lamps.
Following her arrest, Whitfield was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she was held for arraignment. She is expected to return to Farmington Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
