Democrats in the town of Waterloo will hold a caucus on July 17 to nominate candidates for several local offices, according to the Finger Lakes Times. The meeting will take place at party chair Ted Young’s home and is open to all 1,290 registered Democrats.
The caucus aims to select challengers for town supervisor, two board seats, clerk, justice, highway superintendent, and tax collector. Most incumbents, including Supervisor Don Trout and Clerk Rosemarie Marsh, are seeking reelection.
Elsewhere in Seneca County, Romulus Democrats nominated incumbent Timothy Warne for Town Board, while Varick Democrats picked Allen Bulkley for town justice and Rachelle Bateman for a board seat.
