A Waterloo woman was arrested late Wednesday night after police say she was driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content nearly twice the legal limit.
According to the Waterloo Police Department, officers stopped 24-year-old Kayla J. Weatherford around 11:52 p.m. on July 3 for failure to keep right. During the stop, officers determined that Weatherford was intoxicated and recorded a BAC of 0.15%.
She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC greater than 0.08%.
Weatherford was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
