A Hopewell man was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon on charges stemming from an incident that occurred in April.
Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Angel Lopez, 24, on July 2 at Patty’s Lodge on State Route 5 and 20. The arrest was made on a warrant issued by the Hopewell Court following an investigation into an April 9 incident.
Lopez was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest. Authorities transported him to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held for arraignment.
He is scheduled to appear in Hopewell City Court at a later date.
