After a car crash shut it down in April, Jack’s Kitchen is reopening July 1 in a new Shortsville location, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. The diner, previously in Manchester, passed its health inspection just in time for a summer relaunch.
Owner Jack Northrup said he’s deeply thankful for the outpouring of community support during the closure. While there’s no grand event planned, he’s ready to welcome back regulars with the same menu and hours.
The new spot at 19 W. Main St. was once home to several local eateries. Northrup plans to expand offerings once a liquor license is secured.
