Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash on Conquest Victory Townline Road early Wednesday morning, where a vehicle was reported to be on fire.
The incident occurred June 25 in the Conquest Fire District. The Conquest Fire Department, CIMVAC Ambulance, and the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene. The Victory Fire Department also responded with mutual aid support.
First responders quickly secured the area and extinguished the blaze. One person was transported to the hospital with injuries, though their condition has not been released.
Authorities have not yet provided details about the cause of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
