Clifton Springs man arrested on petit larceny warrant

  • Staff Report

A Clifton Springs man was arrested this week in connection with an outstanding warrant after allegedly failing to appear in court for a petit larceny charge.

Glenn F. Williams, 67, was taken into custody by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on June 11. The charge stems from a July 3 incident at Paton’s Market Place, where Williams is accused of stealing a bottle of vinegar.

After missing multiple court appearances in the Town of Sodus, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Authorities located Williams in Ontario County and transported him to the Wayne County Jail, where he awaits CAP arraignment.

He is expected to answer to the charge in Sodus Town Court.
