Waterloo police arrested a 19-year-old on felony charges after a rape investigation in Seneca County.
Around 3:11 p.m. on Thursday, police took Ahmad Whitfield, 19, into custody on four counts of first-degree rape, a Class B felony, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of intimidating a victim, and one count of harassment.
The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred from late 2024 into 2025 where it is alleged Whitfield forcibly raped a 15-year-old female on four different occasions.
He then allegedly threatened to harm the victim if she told anyone about the incidents.
After the arrest, Whitfield was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment. The Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office in the Investigation.
