A narcotics investigation in Cayuga County led to the arrest of an Auburn man and the seizure of cocaine, cash, and drug paraphernalia, according to the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force.
Reynaldo A. Ratcliffe-Sierra, 29, was taken into custody on June 11 following court-authorized searches of a hotel room in the City of Auburn and a rental vehicle he was using. Investigators found over four ounces of cocaine, U.S. currency, a digital scale, and additional items commonly used in the sale of narcotics.
Ratcliffe-Sierra was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 2nd degree (AII-felony) and one count in the 3rd degree (B-felony). He was already on New York State Parole and has two prior felony convictions. The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office requested he be remanded to custody.
The Finger Lakes Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the New York State Police, Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, and Auburn Police Department.
