A Pennsylvania man was arrested in Ontario County on June 11 after allegedly yelling at and acting aggressively toward children during a disturbance outside a Canandaigua Walmart.
Deputies arrested 34-year-old Douglas A. Wyman of Beaver Falls, PA, on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child. According to investigators, Wyman berated family members and got in a child’s face, scaring them. He also reportedly threw groceries into the back seat of a vehicle where three young children were sitting.
Authorities determined that Wyman’s actions were likely harmful to the physical, mental, or moral welfare of the children. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he awaits a court date.
