A serious crash in Seneca County triggered a full emergency response Tuesday, with fire crews, multiple ambulances, and a medical helicopter rushing to the scene on County Route 129 near Vineyard Road.
According to Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire, Romulus and Ovid fire departments responded alongside South Seneca and North Seneca ambulances. The collision prompted rapid coordination among units, with Ovid and Romulus arriving on-scene quickly.
Life Net 7-12, a medical helicopter, was launched “as a precaution,” the fire wire reported. Moments later, the crew confirmed that the helicopter would serve as the medevac and land near the crash site. Crews completed an extrication before transferring the patient to the landing zone.
North Seneca and South Seneca ambulance companies were also on-scene.
