A Seneca Falls man was arrested early Tuesday morning following a domestic disturbance that left a woman with visible injuries, according to local police.
Darrell E. Wright, 43, was taken into custody at 1:10 a.m. on May 13 by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department. He has been charged with assault in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
Police allege Wright assaulted a female during a domestic dispute, causing lacerations and bruising as a result of the altercation. He was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and then transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
Authorities have requested an order of protection on behalf of the victim.
