The New York State Fair is bringing 2000s rock nostalgia to Chevy Court with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus set to perform on August 25, according to syracuse.com. The concert is free with fair admission and marks the band’s first appearance at the event.
Best known for hits like “Face Down” from their platinum debut album, the Florida-based emo rock group has ties to Central New York—guitarist Josh Burke is a Cicero-North Syracuse High School graduate. The show adds to a star-studded lineup that includes Cheap Trick, Busta Rhymes, and Dionne Warwick.
More than 40 national acts are scheduled under a new five-year concert deal, with major upgrades planned for Chevy Court and Suburban Park stages at this year’s fair.
