Ontario County Public Health is inviting residents to join a free six-week virtual program aimed at helping people manage Type 2 diabetes.
The “Beat the Sweet” program will run from June 2 through July 7, with classes held every week from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Participants will learn ways to stay active daily, discover more about nutrition, and meet others managing diabetes—all from the comfort of their homes.
The sessions are designed to provide practical tools for conquering diabetes with every choice made throughout the day. Registration is open now, and participants can sign up by scanning the provided QR code or visiting the Ontario County website at https://www.ontariocountyny.gov/Activities/Activity/Detail/Diabetes-Self-Management-Classes-45.
