Police arrested a Penn Yan man Friday evening following a disturbance that allegedly involved threats with a hammer and physical contact.
Christopher F. Cooke, 39, was taken into custody on April 18 after officers responded to a call on Wagener Street. According to police, Cooke threatened another individual with a hammer and made unwanted physical contact.
Cooke was charged with menacing in the second degree and harassment in the second degree. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court.
