A 64-year-old man was killed in a house fire Thursday evening in the Town of Addison, according to New York State Police. Emergency crews found Randy Allington unconscious on the second floor of his home on State Route 417. Despite attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple fire departments and emergency services responded to the blaze, which remains under investigation. Authorities have not yet determined the fire’s origin or cause.
No other injuries were reported among residents or responders, and it is unclear if anyone else was in the home during the incident.
