A Seneca Falls man is facing multiple charges after police say he fled a traffic stop and led officers on a reckless pursuit through town.
Edward Carter, 28, was arrested by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department following a roadside investigation that escalated when he refused to exit his vehicle on command and drove off.
Police say Carter’s attempt to evade officers involved reckless driving and several traffic violations. He was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree and Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in the 3rd Degree, both Class A misdemeanors. Authorities also issued him numerous traffic citations.
