Law Enforcement Experts to Share Safety Tips at Auburn Seminar

United With Christ Church is bringing together law enforcement professionals for a free Personal Safety Seminar on Friday, May 16, aiming to equip residents with practical tools to stay safe in everyday situations.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at 10 John Smith Ave. and will feature a panel of safety experts, including a representative from the Auburn City Police. The speakers will cover strategies for staying alert and secure whether commuting, shopping, traveling, or socializing in familiar or unfamiliar places.

Organizers say the seminar is especially timely for young adults preparing to navigate new college campuses or job environments on their own.

“We love the people of our community and believe that we can offer this opportunity for them to obtain the skills necessary to avoid dangerous situations and tools to keep themselves safe and secure,” church leaders said in a statement.

The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to invite family and friends. For more information, contact Tammy at 315-729-1550.
