A Waterloo man is facing charges after allegedly taking a car without permission and crashing it in another county.
Police arrested 40-year-old John E. Myers around midnight on April 2. According to the Waterloo Police Department, a victim reported that Myers took her vehicle without consent. He later crashed the car, causing significant damage.
Myers was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the third degree. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
