The regional Stroke Support Group, hosted by UR Medicine Thompson Health, will hold its next meeting on April 3 at 1 p.m. via Zoom.
The group is open to stroke survivors, their loved ones, and caregivers. Those interested in attending can join the invite list by emailing [email protected].
F.F. Thompson Hospital, a New York State Department of Health-designated Stroke Center, offers the support group as part of its commitment to stroke care. The hospital holds advanced certification from The Joint Commission as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award.
