A Geneva man has been arrested following a nearly yearlong investigation into a series of car break-ins and thefts in Seneca Falls.
The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department took Justin T. Letts, 19, into custody on March 25 at approximately 10 a.m. on an arrest warrant issued through the Town of Seneca Falls Court. Police say Letts and three others were involved in a string of vehicle break-ins during the early hours of April 9, 2024, which led to two vehicles being stolen and later destroyed.
Letts faces multiple charges, including two counts of grand larceny in the third degree and two counts of criminal mischief in the second degree, all Class D felonies. He is also charged with four counts of conspiracy in the fifth degree and one count of petit larceny, all Class A misdemeanors.
Following his arrest, Letts was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he awaits arraignment.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and encourage anyone with information about the incident or other individuals involved to contact Investigator Martin Rotz at 315-568-4850 or email [email protected].
