The Palmyra Fire Department participated in Career Day at Palmyra-Macedon High School on March 13, offering students insight into careers in fire service. Firefighters discussed their responsibilities and encouraged those interested in community service to consider joining.
To further connect with the community, the department is hosting a pancake breakfast this Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon at the firehouse. Those interested in volunteering can also visit the station on Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. or Sundays from 10 a.m.-noon.
