Central New York launches inaugural 40 Over 40 Awards to honor regional leaders

Central New York is celebrating leadership, experience, and community impact with the launch of the inaugural 40 Over 40 Awards, recognizing outstanding professionals who continue to drive innovation and change beyond the age of 40.

The event, hosted by Victoria Coit, Founder of Cuse Culture Media Group, and Wayne Wright, Owner of Time 2 Eat Catering Corp., seeks to highlight individuals who are making significant contributions across various industries. The awards challenge the notion that professional achievement is primarily a young person’s game, instead honoring those who continue to shape the region’s future with their expertise, mentorship, and commitment.

“Each recipient has a compelling story of persistence, reinvention, and achievement that deserves celebration,” Coit said. “We’re proud to establish this platform that recognizes the continued contributions of seasoned professionals who make Central New York thrive.”

Wright echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the honorees’ influence on the region. “These individuals have not only succeeded in their respective fields but have paved the way for others and contributed significantly to the growth and development of our community,” he said.

The awards ceremony, set for April 5, 2025, at The Treasury at the Palladian in Syracuse, will also feature the official launch of Time 2 Eat’s premier brunch artistry and offerings. Guests will experience an elaborate culinary presentation designed to elevate the event into a full sensory experience.

Among the 40 honorees are business leaders, educators, public servants, and nonprofit champions, including Dr. Emad Rahim, Retired Judge Vanessa Bogan, Chief Michael Monds, Helen Hudson, and Gwen Webber-McLeod. A full list of awardees is available at CuseCulture.com.

Nominations for the 2026 CNY 40 Over 40 Awards will open on January 1, 2026, and businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to contact event organizers.
