An Alabama resident has been sentenced to eight years in prison for sexually exploiting a minor in Yates County. Austin Pace was sentenced Tuesday by Yates County Court Judge Jason Cook after being convicted on multiple charges, including sex trafficking and coercion.
Pace used social media to target the victim, leading to a 19-count indictment with charges such as promoting prostitution of a minor and using a child in a sexual performance. He was extradited to New York in May 2024 and arraigned the following day.
Along with his prison sentence, Pace will serve 20 years of post-release supervision.
