Gasoline prices rose by two cents to a national average of $3.13 per gallon, following fears of tariffs, according to the Energy Information Administration. Meanwhile, public EV charging rates stayed flat at 34 cents per kilowatt hour. Gasoline demand and domestic supplies grew, though production dipped slightly.
Crude oil saw a price drop, closing at $71.03 per barrel as inventories surged by 8.7 million barrels. U.S. crude levels remain 5% below the seasonal five-year average.
