An Auburn man was taken into custody at the start of the week after parole found cocaine, crack, fentanyl, and drug packaging materials during a compliance check. Brent L. Tanner Sr., 37, faces three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felony.
The Finger Lakes Drug Task Force, already familiar with Tanner’s suspected drug activity, assisted in the arrest. He was taken to the Cayuga County Jail, and prosecutors are seeking his remand due to prior felony convictions and parole status.
