Waterloo school board member resigns amid controversy

Waterloo Board of Education member Stephani Krzysik resigned Friday, citing personal reasons, just a handful of months into her three-year term.

According to the Finger Lakes Times, her resignation halts a planned board discussion on potential removal for alleged misconduct, though no specific allegations were disclosed.

Officials have not commented on whether the vacant seat will be filled before May’s election.

The board is also set to approve a consulting agreement with Jeff Pirozzolo, a retired superintendent, to assist with building condition surveys and future capital projects.
