A Florida man has been taken into custody in the Southern Tier after being accused of impregnating a minor.
Trevon Bing, 27, was arrested Thursday in Waverly for allegedly impregnating a minor and committing lewd acts with a child.
Authorities uncovered the charges while investigating a crash involving a tractor-trailer Bing was driving.
Bing, wanted in Columbia County, Florida, was taken into custody under a nationwide extradition warrant issued on January 16.
He is being held at Tioga County Jail pending further legal proceedings.
