Costco is transitioning from Pepsi to Coca-Cola products at its food court soda fountains, CEO Ron Vachris announced during a recent shareholders meeting. The switch, scheduled for this summer, marks a return to Coke, which was last served in 2013.
The move is unlikely to impact the iconic $1.50 hot dog and soda combo, a Costco staple since the 1980s.
While the combo’s price has sparked past concerns, the company remains committed to keeping it unchanged, even amid rising costs.
