The leaders also prioritized economic collaboration, focusing on investments, technology development, and energy security. They announced plans to boost U.S. liquefied natural gas exports and diversify critical mineral supply chains.
Both countries reaffirmed opposition to China’s coercive tactics in the region, emphasized Taiwan Strait stability, and stressed the need for DPRK denuclearization and countering its cyber threats. Trump accepted an invitation for a future visit to Japan.
